Mike Mack, X5 President & Founder
For Mike, every relationship is built on Like, Respect and Trust.
Mike Mack is Founder and President of X5 Management, which he created in 2006. Mike’s passion is to make businesses and their people better by “turning soft skills into hard assets.” He guides the X5 team with strategic direction and is constantly striving to improve and deliver X5’s unique value to customers.
Mike is the author of REMARKABLE SERVICE: “Be the Business Everyone’s talking About”, and is currently working on his second book that will focus on effective business relationships. Mike is an entrepreneur, professional speaker and facilitator.
Mike holds an MBA from Athabasca University, and obtained his Distinguished Toastmasters Designation – DTM (The Distinguished Toastmaster award is the highest Toastmasters International bestows. The DTM recognizes a superior level of achievement in both communication and leadership). He is a member of CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers). Shawna Soch, Strategic Assistant
Shawna believes in putting people first.
Shawna spent 21 years in the healthcare field where she learned the intrinsic value of customer service, working as a team and providing a consistent, genuine and caring environment for all patients.
Shawna’s career path then took her into the world of accounting where her supportive style and attention to detail made her an asset to the firm’s partners and staff for 8 years. Her love of reading and writing was an asset when tasked with editing and composing documents. With her focus and strong work ethic, Shawna continued to grow and become an integral part of the firm with duties covering a broad range of responsibilities. A different setting from a health clinic, working at the accounting firm provided Shawna with further skills and a deeper appreciation of the value and importance of communication, time management and outstanding customer service.
Shawna brings her 30 years of experience and skills in customer relations to the X5 Management team.
Shawna was born and raised in Edmonton until age 5, when her family moved to an acreage south of Sherwood Park. Here she developed a love of the outdoors and gained a keen interest in gardening. She and her husband, Tom, currently live on 40 acres nearby her childhood home where she is able to indulge in her love of gardening and assist her aging father.
Matt Graff, Director of Business Operations
Matt is an advocate for collaboration and enhanced team communication to stimulate organizational growth.
As an experienced consultant and facilitator and the Director of Business Operations with X5 Management, Matt has a passion for helping organizations improve their sales, customer service and team strategy initiatives.
Matt helps align all of the moving parts of a business for sustainable growth, motivating organizations to improve communication internally and externally to promote customer service excellence while keeping the sales pipeline full. An experienced speaker, Matt connects with all participants and audiences, including CEO’s, sales & service professionals, operations managers, supervisors, and entrepreneurs.
Matt is a life-long learner who enjoys forming and strengthening relationships, and his extensive experience in business operations and training and development has helped improve many businesses that have worked with X5. He will complete his Certified Management Consulting designation (CMC) in 2017. Matt is a Toastmaster who holds an MBA from the University of Alberta
Born and raised on his family farm near Ferintosh, Alberta, Matt was an active 4-H member and continues to believe in the importance of rural development and community involvement. He appreciates working with other energetic and motivated individuals to develop and implement customized business solutions.
Raymark Dizon, Director, Marketing & Business Development, Alberta
Raymark believes in the importance of adding value to any organization.
Raymark brings his educational background, extensive work experience and strong passion for entrepreneurship to the X5 Management team as a Project Manager of Sales and Service Initiatives. Raymark utilizes his creativity in helping launch new and fresh marketing initiatives for X5. His ability to connect and build relationships with others helps foster and create new business relationships for X5.
Raymark holds a BCom. as well as a BSc. from the University of Alberta and is excited to work with organizations that are ready to take their business to the next level. He appreciates problem solving and analyzing businesses to help develop and implement tailored business solutions.
After moving to Canada at a young age, Raymark was raised in the wonderful community of St. Albert, Alberta and has been an active member in the community. Raymark enjoys volunteering and helping others in any way he can. Raymark is dedicated in continuously improving his skills in order to develop and maintain strong relationships in both his personal and professional life.
Arnold McLaughlin, Director, Business Development – Vancouver and Lower Mainland
Arnold loves the art of the sale and connecting with everyone that he meets.

He has served as a Business Advisor and Mentor to Mike Mack, founder, X5 Management for over 14 years. His experience and wisdom has served Mike and X5 well during this time frame. Arnold believes that “dropping a pebble and chasing the ripples” is essential for long lasting business relationships.
Arnold has been a Sales Professional for over 50 years, including Commercial (I.C. & I.) real estate. He is currently licensed with Macdonald Realty Ltd., in Vancouver, B.C. His real estate career has focused predominantly on commercial sales and leasing for the entire 46 years that he has been licensed. He has had longstanding and proven success over these many years and is still active in the profession because of his passion for sales, allowing him to stay focused everyday. He is a gifted communicator and has a natural ability to work a room and build meaningful relationships with ease. His recall for information is exceptional and allows him to add value to those that he serves, each and every day.
Arnold, and his wife Janette, reside in Coquitlam and enjoy remaining active in beautiful British Columbia.
John Liston, Facilitator and Coach
John Liston is a facilitator and coach with X5 Management.

John has 30 + years experience in working with senior teams and front-line employees, with a passion for connecting and building meaningful relationships.
John led the Alberta Sales and Marketing region for Great West Life to be their national top performing office in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
John is very active in the community and has served on several boards, including: hospital boards, social services boards, school parent councils and coached virtually every sport imaginable in his home community of St. Albert. He is married to Alison and has two children, Liam age 22 and Zoe age 17.

Debra grew up in rural Alberta and knows that it takes hard work, dedication, and perseverance to get the outcomes you want. She believes people are the heart of the community. For the past 9 years, Debra and her family have been serving their community by spearheading The Spirit of Christmas Pancake Breakfast and Shoebox Campaign serving Edmonton Schools have populations with higher than average socioeconomic needs. Debra enjoys being physically active and participates in triathlons, running, and cross-country ski events. Debra is married and has three children active in a variety of sporting activities.
Tyler Neilsen, Coach and Facilitator

Tyler Neilsen is Founder and Lead Coach with Vision Cast Canada Inc., which he created in 2010. Tyler graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Vanguard College in Edmonton. He has also traveled extensively and been on every continent of the world, with the exception of Antarctica.
Tyler is active in his home city, Edmonton, Alberta, and has served on a variety of boards. He continues to be the president of the community hockey club that his boys play in. He is a committed family man and enjoys spending time with his kids through activities including baseball and hockey.
