Jason Desaulniers
Jason has been working in the financial services industry since 1996. He has held positions in the areas of investment and insurance planning with major banks, insurance companies, and credit unions across Western Canada. Jason is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). Jason believes strongly in lifelong learning, and as such he is currently pursuing the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.
Jason has presented on business building, practice management, financial planning, and risk management strategies to numerous groups across Western Canada. Some of these have included RBC Dominion Securities, Ten Star Financial Services, Strategic Brokerage Services, BMO Nesbitt Burns, Daystar Financial, Money Concepts, Desjardins Financial Security, Sentinel Life Management Corporation, and both the College of Alberta Denturists, as well as the Denturist Association of Alberta.
After founding Excalibur Executive Planning Inc. in 2007 and throughout his career, Jason has mastered many aspects of networking, client-relationship management, consultative selling strategies, and guerilla marketing. He enjoys sharing these insights with clients and colleagues alike, both on an individual basis as well as through workshops.
Jason has been an active member of the community. He has volunteered with a number of organizations, including NABI (Northern Alberta Business Incubator), Junior Achievement, and Scouts Canada. He is currently serving his second term as President (2009/2010, 2010/2011) for BNI Park Power Connections chapter.
