Allan Mactier

Born/raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Educated in Manitoba & British Columbia (Commerce), 30 years in Financial Services Industry (Professional Trust/Wealth Mgmt Services) in Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo & Toronto. Allan has honed his skills as a personal coach from the time he first coached youngsters on the open-air hockey rinks of Manitoba and he fine-tuned and developed those skills into valuable tools in working with both colleagues and clients with the Professional Trust & Wealth Mgmt Industry in Canada. His proven successes saw him grow within this very specialized area of the Financial Services Industry and achieving Sr. Mgmt roles in such areas of Sales & Regional Mgmt., Human Resources & Sales Training.

Allan is married (Brenda) and they enjoy an active life on Vancouver Island where Allan is not only busy professionally but they are community supporters through organizations like United Way. In addition, Allan has over the year’s been very busy as a Board Member & Sr. Executive of such orgaizations as The Vancouver Board of Trade, BC Children’s Hospital Board (Victoria Chapter), Rotary International, Boys & Girls Club Services (Board Member/President).

Post a temporary retirement after leaving the Financial Services Industry, Allan (longterm boat owner & adventurist) started his own Yacht Brokerage/Sales Company and joined Van Isle Marina as their Manager of Brokerage/Yacht Sales at Sidney BC. Working exclusivedly with Van Isle Marina Allan has helped them grown this end of their business into what it is today as the leading Brokerage & New Yacht Sales business on Vancouver Island. Again, through being recognized as a leader in the Yacht Sales business, he is now a Member of the Board of Directors of the BC Yacht Brokers Association & is an appointed Counsel Member of the Educational Panel of The Certified Yacht Broker Council of N. America.
